This book was so good. It was from a unique point of view...the dog's. The concept behind the book is that the main character is the dog. You only know what he knows...which in some cases is different from what the people are aware of and other times leaves little gaps that you get clued into later on.
The dogs master is a race car driver. It goes through Denny, the master, meeting a woman, getting married, having a child, and how their lives change...especially the dog's. The amount of loyalty the dog shows is spot on and recognizable for even those who have never had a dog.
The dog, Enzo, has one wish...to be a race car driver. The book follows the spans of time that represents Enzo's life. There are a lot of parts that make you chuckle and some that make you sad.
It's a quick read. All in all it's a good book that I would recommend to anyone.
Enjoy!
